• Live observation hive and solar wax extractor demo from experienced beekeepers

• Fresh honey tastings:

  • Mint-infused thick honey from dike-land apiaries

  • Light, floral honey from the Upper Clatskanie River Valley 

•  Insights from the Columbia County Bee Club and a spotlight talk on regenerative beekeeping at 12pm

• A delightful Master Gardener Fashion Show featuring wings and antennae at 12:20pm

• Live music by Oleada—instrumental psychedelia to set the mood

• Libations Garden: Relax with locally brewed ales

• Local artisans, crafts, value‑added foods, and seasonal produce from local growers

• Vendor showcase featuring over 40 local businesses and makers

After-Hours Film Screening + Mead Tasting

6:00 PM · Clatskanie Food Hub · Donation ticketed (max 40 guests)

• Hosted by Bee Oracle, producer of Amrita—a documentary-in-progress about three groups of women merging science + spirituality to conserve wild bees in Hawai‘i, Portugal, and Mexico

• 13-minute preview screening + intro, followed by a live Q&A (approx. 1 hour total)

• Melchemy Mead tasting (six unique, wild-fermented flavors available for sale)

• Seasonal appetizers from local Food Hub vendors

• Quiet, cozy, all-ages welcome (20% of proceeds go to film production)
