Our Vision.
The vision of Clatskanie Farmer Collective is for our community to experience access to an abundant agricultural web sustained by local partnerships and regenerative culture. We believe diverse relationships facilitate community building and the prolific growth of agricultural offerings. We work to build a resilient food system that brings exponential improvement to our community’s quality of life and collective health.
Who we are.
We are a group of passionate people on a mission to build and nourish a vibrant local food agricultural system in Clatskanie, Oregon! The Clatskanie Farmer Collective is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, we offer community based market opportunities that connect local growers to buyers in Clatskanie and throughout the North Coast of Oregon. We offer a variety of products, services, and events to support local agriculture, economy, and culture. Learn more about our year-round Food Hub, seasonal Farmers Market, classes & events, Community Garden and how to join the fun.
We strive to create a market where everyone can feel safe, respected, and uplifted by one another. There is no tolerance in our market for racism, discrimination, harassment, hate, or violence.
We acknowledge the land we now call Clatskanie as the traditional territory of the Siletz, Grande Ronde, Clatsop, and Chinook Tribal nations. We also acknowledge the Tribal governments and their roles today in taking care of these lands.
We provide a variety of food assistance programs at our markets and food hub for folks on low incomes. We’re always looking to expand our offerings.
Please let us know how we can help make local food more accessible.
The Clatskanie Farmer Collective, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is overseen by a dedicated Board of Directors. These volunteers are working year-round behind the scenes to help coordinate our programs.
