7th annual Garlic Festival August 20th, 10am-2pm in Cope’s Park:
Do you smell that?!
Spicy, zesty...a slight tickling of the nostrils with a heavy awakening of the senses?!
'Tis the sweet sulfury mix of fresh-pulled soil and moist garlic skins curing on the warm summer breeze!
August 20th come see what the smell's all about!...and taste too!!!
With over 26 strains and 8 varieties, our garlic vendors will be setting up tents packed to the top with totes of garlic heads. Take home bulbs of all colors and sizes from Columbia Gorge Garlic, Hildaberry Permaculture Farm & Nursery, Rainier Family Farm, Tilthworks, Cedar Farm and home-growers just like you who consign at our Community Booth!
Our hot food vendors will showcase garlic-centric menus, and there'll be plenty of hard cider and jun to wash it down! Of course, our steadfast market community will feature all the eggs, honey, veggies, baked goods, art and homemade goods, plant starts, and interactive education booths you've come to love. Plan to spend the afternoon with us because you won't want to miss live music from the Flying Caravan! Come, eat, drink, shop, stay! We love when you do :)
Admission is FREE!
& as always the day will begin with an indigenous story by our very own sage, Scott MacGregor.
