Clatskanie Food Hub | 80 NE Art Steele St.
Saturday, Jan. 17th 12pm-2pm | FREE EVENT
Join us for a community seed swap and hands-on seed cleaning day!
Whether you’re a seasoned seed saver or just curious, this is a welcoming, interactive event centered on sharing seeds, skills, and stories. You do not need to bring seeds to participate — come to learn, connect, and be inspired.
We’ll be running live demonstrations with a fun, home-built thresher and walking through practical seed cleaning techniques you can use at home. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, see the process up close, and deepen your connection to where seeds come from.
Tea and coffee will be available, and baked goods will be for sale by Hunter’s Homestead.
For those bringing seeds:
Please arrive by 12pm and clearly label your seed varieties with the date and any growing notes. Seeds must be non-GMO, with a strong preference for heirloom, native, and organic varieties. Seedlings and bare roots are also welcome.
This is about sharing abundance, knowledge, and resilience — all are welcome.
